Guys,

Take a look at the 'U.S. Tournament Archive' thread in this forum. There's a large scale data project being worked on currently, and I would like to incorporate data from all of the countries involved in the global zone community into it.

Ideally, I'd like to get one or two people from each country to run point on collecting and organizing data similiar to that thread for their respective tournament scene. Subsequent to that, they'll need to collect as much roster information for all of the teams/groups included in the events as humanly possible, but most importantly for 1st-3rd places in all events. I can provide a layout in excel to track the data that will facilitate a smoother import into the existing database that houses the US archive.

All of the info in the archive thread is crucial, such as pack version used, site name, location, dates, etc. Please be as comprehesive as possible if you choose to volunteer for this project.

So who feels up to this?

Do you require such info as induvidual / team playing styles / strengths, or is it more of a statistical database??
I think it would be most interesting (albeit tiresome work) to get a world wide record of all registered members, their playing styles, average scores for "Nationals Teams" format and (one day) world ranking..

Given the amount of info required for all this.. would take yonks.. But with the next world event a few years away would give playes something to research :D

Put it this way, any data you want to send me is more than welcome. Eventually all this will tie in with player profile pages so the info you proposed could have merit.

The initial stages will be statistical in nature though.
